La Palma, also called “La Isla Bonita”, is perhaps the most beautiful island of the Canary archipelago. It has beautiful landscapes, which you will not find on other Canary Islands. The island offers all its visitors a huge natural wealth, which you can enjoy during your bike rides. The Caldera de Taburiente and the water tunnels at Marcos y Cordero are unique landscapes. The larger cities of La Palma are very lively and the atmosphere is South American.

Mountain biking on La Palma
Cycling over the volcanic rocks can be a real pleasure for mountain bike fans. A large number of roads and paths lead you through pine trees, laurel forests, volcanoes and along the coast of La Palma. The variety is enormous: From lush mountains to the dry volcanic landscapes in the south, which house the youngest volcanoes in Spain. Cycling along forest paths of the Cumbre Vieja is an unforgettable experience. This is a fairly easy route along the lava flows from former volcanic eruptions. From there you can cycle towards the vineyards of Fuencaliente, up to the Teneguía volcano.
